On-chain development models transform the collaboration between gamers and game studios. A once value-extractive relationship has turned into a mutual partnership with blockchain tech. When gamers can actively participate, propose changes, and apply for ecosystem grants, the dynamic shifts. Gamers are suddenly steering the ship, building alongside game studios instead of sitting idly as passengers. Delegation of decisions allows for delegation of execution. The result is additional workstreams marching towards a common vision. In this march, community members share the upside and success. A unified ecosystem token, like PRIME, along with tangible digital asset ownership allows participants to grow along with the ecosystem.

In this presentation, Echelon Prime Foundation representatives explain how community-led, on-chain gaming models enable community members to self-organize, enact change, and foster ecosystem growth in ways that were previously impossible.

Intended Audience

Game studios! Echelon showcases what is possible when games embrace on-chain technology, allowing players to share in the execution and upside of a successful game. When community members can self-organize and add value, it alleviates developmental and operational loads for game studios while creating unprecedented game experiences.
